What is Fit Club?

Fit Club is small group training developed and coached by Certified Strength and Conditioning Coaches that strives to incorporate every dimension of fitness (strength, nutrition, endurance, speed, flexibility, stamina, power, coordination, balance and agility) in a positive, encouraging, and safe environment. You will learn proper technique, consistently demonstrate proper technique, and take the correct steps toward reaching your goals.

Each class is 60 minutes in duration and consists of mobility exercises, a dynamic warm-up, the workout, and flexibility. Fit Club works because it is a community of people from all walks of life with different fitness levels, but all striving to achieve the same goal of living a healthy and positive life. The program is effective and efficient. The environment is motivating and fun and the groups grow from a handful of individuals into small families. With 25 classes offered every week, the flexibility of our schedule will allow you the time to train and keep your commitment to lose weight, get stronger, leaner, and achieve a healthy lifestyle.

Fit Club is for all walks of life. The average age of our members is 30-40 but ranges from 20-60 years.

What makes Fit Club different?

What really makes Fit Club different is our sense of community and our passion for fitness. We have a “start together, finish together” mentality. It doesn’t matter if it’s your first day or you’ve never picked up a weight in your life, if you are in the group you are in the family.

Our passion for fitness is noticeable from the moment you walk in the door, if it’s not then we have not done our job. The environment is positive, encouraging, and fun. We want you to want to be here. It is our responsibility to help you see that fitness is a way of life. Your strength, conditioning, flexibility, and overall fitness level is a life-long process, not just a short-term goal and your nutrition is an ongoing science experiment, not just a New Year’s resolution. When you have a positive and healthy attitude you can achieve a positive and healthy lifestyle.

What is Game Day?

Game Day is our “Super Bowl.” Four Saturday’s a year Fit Club members get an opportunity to come together and participate in competitive events against each other. The “events” are workouts that are similar to the normal Fit Club workouts but are more mentally and physically challenging. The environment is intense and competitive but is still extremely positive and encouraging. Participants register, get broken up into teams, assigned team colors, then plan and design their team uniforms. Later that day, after the morning events, we come back together at the Game Day party. Game Day is also a chance for members from the morning groups to meet those in the later groups, and vice versa. The Saturday morning events and the evening party serve to bring the members together to create and build the community.

“Before I joined Fit Club I tried all kinds of exercise. I mostly did cardio classes at the gym or weight training on my own. My level of fitness has definitely improved since joining Fit Club. “Before Fit Club I did mostly traditional body-building style weight training and cardio – mostly running. I have been working out consistently since I was 15 years old and considered myself in good shape. Fit Club has helped me realize that overall conditioning comes from varied exercises and short bursts of cardio which I am already seeing are helping me run faster and longer. My training before joining Fit Club consisted of cardio classes, step classes, spinning, body attack, and long walks and I never seemed to get many results.  Fit Club has been life changing and my body has definitely changed! ‘Fight Club’ works on all aspects of training so I don’t have to worry if I am doing too much cardio, not enough weights, etc. It’s the whole package! I see a huge difference in my ability to do exercises I have never been able to do before….push-ups on my toes….still can’t believe it! Prior to joining Fit Club I worked with a personal trainer 3 times a week and 2 times a week I would train on my own. My training was boring and non-productive. I was not working to my full potential, and had no mental clarity. As a member of Fit Club I am now working towards getting ripped and I have been able to get my diet under control. I have an overall better outlook on life and have much more mental clarity. I am stronger, mentally and physically. When I joined I could do only 2 pull-ups and now I am up to 12-15 pull-ups. I’ve added lean muscle and dropped 3-7% body fat.  All my clothes fit perfectly! Fit Club has improved my level of fitness which is the best it’s ever been at 44 yrs old. I can play with my kids longer and run those 22 year old Fit Clubber’s into the ground! My favorite part of Fit Club is the overall bonding of its members. My life before Fit Club was missing something. I was putting everyone before myself and what I needed to do was make myself a healthy and happy person. Before Fit Club I was doing a lot of cardio and weightlifting classes but not seeing the results I was looking for. My life has changed dramatically since joining Fit Club.  I have gained a new “family” and many friends and have totally changed physically.  I have lost 30 pounds, feel strong, in shape and healthy.  The support from the staff and members is amazing which makes me want to be a better eater, athlete and all-around person to keep up!
